You can place sample folders anywhere on your computer then add them as Browser extra search folders under 'Options File Settings'. Directories that you add here will populate your FL Studio Browser.
Step 1: Open FL Studio 20. Step 2: Go to 'options' on the toolbar menu in the left top corner. Step 3: Click on 'file settings' Step 4: In the 'browser extra search folders' tab you need to click on the folder icon on the left side of your screen. Step 5: Select your sample pack folder in the windows shell menu that pops up. Step 6: Click on OK. Now, adding sample packs and sound libraries into FL Studio is a very simple process. As an easy way to figure out what folder you need to move the sounds into, right-click on 'Packs' and click open. Once you're in the folder, you can just drag and drop your sounds into this and they will show up in the DAW under Packs. Then go Options - File Settings and add your folder there where it says 'Browser extra search folders'. Then you'll find it in the left sidebar of FL. Plugins are added the same way except you add your VST folder, not your sample folder and it's added in the File Settings -window too, where it says 'VST extra search folders'.
